A variety of great family attractions offer great choices for days out too, including the world famous Eden Project and its magnificent biomes.

This heritage steam railway runs for 6.5 miles from Bodmin Parkway to Boscarne Junction, via Bodmin General and is a great day trip if your children love trains.

The Camel Trail

Following a disused railway line, this 18 mile, largely traffic free cycle path and trail follows the Camel Estuary from Padstow through to Wadebridge, along to the wooded Camel Valley at Bodmin, just a short drive from Glynn Bull Pen.

Eden Project

This is a must-see for visitors! The famous biomes of the Eden Project hold the world’s largest indoor rainforest, full of special plants and incredible things to see. As well as the plants, there’s an ice rink, England’s longest zipwire and plenty more to do.
